If you also love beaches then Calahonda has a long, fine grain, sandy beach. It take sabout 5 - 6 minutes to walk to the beach from the apartment. If you follow the beach along you come to Puerto de Cabapino, where you can enjoy water sports, sailing and wind surfing along with a variety of cafes and restaurants
There are many bars, coffee houses and restaurants within easy reach of the Jardines de Calahonda. Several supermarkets are also within easy walking reach, supplying a good range of fresh fruit, breads, cakes, vegetables, meat and fish.
There are many interesting places to visit nearby, whether you hire a car or use the public transport system, Jardines de Calahonda is an ideal base to savour a real taste of Spain.

The region includes some fantastic harbours and leisure Ports, amongst our favourite is Puerto Banus, which is about 20 minutes driving West from Calahonda.
