Cuevas de Nerja (Caves Of Nerja)

Located in Malaga Province in Southern Spain, the Caves of Nerja are about half an hours drive East of Malaga. Situated amongst picturesque Mediterranean villages

About one third of the entire cave complex is open for the public to view. This includes the Entrance Hall, Creche Hall, Elephant Eye-Tooth Hall, Phantoms Hall and the Cataclysm Hall.

Much of the complex was opened up in the 1960's and 70's, however the caves themselves were formed around 5 million years ago!

The trip through the caves takes about 45 minutes for tourists, speciality trips to view special areas may also be optionally available.

Due to the nature of the caves we recommend good footwear and a desire to walk!

Aqua Vista: Dolphin Trips

Situated in the Port of Fuengirola, the AquaVista boat trips cruise along the Coast Line with underwater Vision Chambers the glass bottomed boat gives a fascinating ands unique perspective on the underwater life along the Coastline.

Fuengirola is just minutes away from Calahonda and Mijas along the N-340 coastal highway.

Among the highlights of the boat cruise, the operators endeavour to find Dolphins swimming in their natural environment.

The trips take a minimum of 1 and a half hours and you can take in the beautiful views of the coastline or the incredible underwater views.

The Catamaran provides exceptional views under the water and also includes the ability to light up sea-beds by powerful projector lamps, which enables you to discover a world which is always awake.

Parque Acuatico Mijas (Mijas Water Park)

The water park is a family friendly Oasis of fun and adventure. The park has a range of wild water, whirling rides and waterslides and a waterplay area for younger ones.

Situated in Mijas which is part of Fuengirola, this park is just 10 minutes from Calahonda, with free parking and a very short bus journey from the Fuengirola bus terminal this park is ideally positioned.

Open from April to October, the park has many promotional deals such as 2 day discounts and children under 4 go free.

The park has a Self-Service cafeteria and bar, cloakrooms and changing rooms. The park can also supply floats and sunbeds as well as having a shop that sells suntan products, swimwear and souvenirs. You may take packed lunches! but no glass!
